Me and 2 other friends of mine tried to rescue a kitten in our girls hostel today....thanks to the sewage pipeline and high-tension wires and cables...we couldn't do it....we had to let go....plus the kitten started to make "zzzsssshh" noises that made us think whether we had made the right choice to rescue it or not!
This happened some time in the evening today after college. Later at night while talking to a friend of mine(on the phone) on how certain things should be left as they are and how one should not worry much about a thing or a situation or a person....we were just talking that sometimes things don't really have to have a reason to happen...they take their own time..and you know- happen..one shouldn't think much about how, why, when or how...
guess what happened next...I saw the kitten jump out of the place where it was stuck! I could see it poke its head out a couple of times...but I couldn't really do anything...and suddenly after about 5-10 mins...it just jumped out like a spring....
Moral of the story: Don't think too much about a situation in which you can't really HELP much or a situation in which you can't really DO much...If the right thing has to happen -it will happen!
So you would say interesting day huh?...This moral didn't hit me at that very minute....but after my conversations were over with that friend of mine...I realised the moral! funny thing isn't???
so the kitten finally jumps out! It had to happen!

'Coz for now, I would like you to 'dwell' in the 'thoughts' and 'significance' of this little 'discovery' you've made - just a few hours ago!!
Just as they say.. 'Order'.. is about 'CLARITY'..
A place for everything.. and everything in its place... Same is also, true for 'Life'...
A 'reason'.. for everything ( - GOD.. knows - even if, it may not be so 'clear' to us 'humans'!)and EVERYTHING... for a 'reason'! :)

ReplyDeleteI thought I'll 'update' my 'blog'... but BEFORE that, I had to - HAD TO! - read your 'post' once again...
And just as it had done this morning - it brought a 'smile' to my face again! :)
What I'd now like to say/ tell you, is, THIS:
Imagine... the little 'kitten' had lost sight of its Mum/ siblings.. maybe, in its excitement of following let's say, a 'butterfly', got 'lost', got 'scared' when it couldn't find its way 'back HOME'.. and in fact, got 'frightened' by a dog which started to chase that little 'kitten'.. and in its 'desperate' attempt to 'save' itself, it went and hid in the place where you guys found it!! Its 'little' heart still beating with 'fear' in its chest.... it must have not 'expected' that it'll ever get out of there 'alive'!! So, even if you guys - when you 'discovered' it - tried to extend a 'helping' hand - it saw THAT too, as an 'attack', not an act of 'rescue'! Thus, the 'zzzsshhh' noise... A defensive pose. Poor thing, couldn't really 'TRUST' you to be the 'saviors'... rather just some other 'scary' predator/s... 'so big and frightening'!
Shagun, the 'point' I'm making here is - SOMETIMES.. there's more to a 'story'.. than what meets the eye..when 'YOU'..'encounter' it!!
And, also, SOMETIMES, even if YOUR 'intentions' are 'good' - it may be 'difficult' for the 'other' to 'accept' it at 'face-value' - because after many a 'knock-back' in life, they may have stopped 'TRUSTING'...
AND... in some situations - like the 'talk' you had with your 'friend'... even if you extend your 'help'... the 'other' may not be 'READY'.. to be 'rescued'.. just yet! Maybe, they just want 'time' to let the 'heart' find its 'normal' beat again... Maybe, they need 'time' to stay in the 'comforting' blanket of the 'dark' or the 'small' space of that 'alcove' because it 'feels' SAFE!
And, m'dear... when the 'kitten' was 'READY'... it 'jumped out' - on its OWN accord - FINALLY!!!
It's all about the 'inner'... rather than the 'outer' state of affairs, m'dear!
MORAL of my story/'comment'?!..... Hahahaha....
YOU... always 'offer' help,BE there to 'rescue' someone if there's is a 'need' you detect.. but never PUSH..things..!! As you - RIGHTLY - said, if it has to 'happen' - it WILL....
Important thing is.. you should always keep the 'door' of YOUR 'heart'... OPEN!! :)
